Drabble: Baking
A/N: No one ever writes Ella/Thomas or Ashley/Sean fanfiction, people say Ashley/Ella is a weak character, but honestly? She does the same thing as Disney!Cinderella, so I don't understand why people don't like her. I personally love her as much as I love Snow and the others. Anyway, I really wanted to write a fluffy oneshot, and they seemed like the perfect characters.
Spoiler Warning: None. Takes place before the curse was cast, right after Ella and Thomas get married.

Ella hummed a melody as she expertly cracked an egg into the mixing bowl, before grabbing a cup of flour, adding it to the mixture. She ignored the servants gaping at her from across the kitchen. It was probably a strange sight, Ella mused, the Princess in the kitchens, let alone the Princess cooking.
But, she was used to it, cooking, that is. She cooked for her step mother and step sisters. Yes, she swore that she would change her life, but why did that mean she have to stop using her talents? Plus, she wanted to make something for Thomas, a special reciepe of her mother's that she kept hidden from her step mother.
"You know, we have servants for that." A warm, smooth voice interupted her musings and a familiar, muscled arm wrapped around her waist. Ella let a smile creep onto her face, but she kept on adding ingredients and mixing. "I know that," Her tone was quiet, unsure if the servants were still in the room. "But can't a wife make something special for her husband?" She questioned.
"Of course," Her husband answered, resting his chin on her shoulder, "So my lovely wife, what are you making?" Ella shook her head, her blonde hair pulled out of her face, "Not yet. You need to wait until it's baked."
Thomas simply smiled at his princess, before he reached foreward and dipped his finger in the batter, his eyes twinkling teasingly at Ella's gaping, but amused face as he brought the finger to his lips. "Mmm," He sighed appericativly, "Well, whatever it is, it tastes lovely so far, my dear."
Ella's face lit up in a glow at his praise, "Thank you." She said with a grin, as she started stirring the mixture again.
