Freak out Let it Go

"I will NOT DO IT!" a female shouted into a room full of her shocked friends.

What were they possibly thinking? What could they have been plotting against her when they pulled out that disgustingly tacky playboy bunny costume? Were they just expecting her to wear it, to grin and bear it? Oh no, no chance in hell on that one. She wouldn't go down without a fight, especially with her older brother involved. He was such a tease all the time, flirting with anything in a skirt. It was bad enough that her friends thought that his idea was a wonderful idea.

Okay, so it was to help out a lonely guy who needed a date desperately but why in the world did it have to be a costume party? Why? Why me? She thought bitterly as she stormed down the hallway toward the bathroom. Her boot clad feet kept stomping away on the tiles, the childish temper tantrum dissipating with each infuriated step.

This slowly came to a stop as she realized that she was acting like a stubborn child, just like she always had in front of her brother, her only remaining family. It wasn't worth this pain and embarrassment in front of her friends to hurt him and so…

She let it go and went back to wear the horrid looking costume.

But not before she'd make a few choice modifications.
