Disclaimer: I do not own Weiss Kreuz.
A/N: A request: What episode is it that Omi is attacked by Yohji and Aya? I've seen clips and pictures of this, but can't figure out where it's from (I only found out about Weiss through YouTube). Help please!

Omi knew that he was often considered the weakest member of the Weiss team, and it bothered him. The others were always certain, sure; more often than not he was the one who "couldn't deal with his problems" and complicated missions because of it.
But they didn't understand.
Omi was smart, for one thing; he was the team data collector. It was his responsibility to make sure everyone got out of a mission alive. If he overlooked anything it might be a fatal mistake. The others didn't have that burden. It was his job to consider all the angles and make sure they did things smoothly, worked to the best of their abilities. He was supposed to always be aware of everything about their missions, to always question his own data and ensure that the desired result was always achieved.
So was it any wonder that Omi, the "kindest" of the assassins, was always questioning if he and Weiss were doing the right thing? The others all thought the answer was so simple: Don't think about it. Don't doubt Kritiker. Don't doubt Persia. Don't consider the ramifications of killing someone who might have a family. Don't hesitate, even if the target is family.
But nothing was ever that simple; didn't they get it?! He had to know if he was doing the right thing; they said he had to have faith, or he'd die. He knew that, but he had to know if dying wouldn't be the right path for one such as him. He'd nearly died at the hands of his brother because he needed to know – so desperately needed to know – if there was any way that two things could be right at the same time. Could he love his brother? Could he kill him? Should he kill him? Did family come before duty?
Aya had asked him that. Aya, who should never have asked. What if it had been his precious sister who was the target?
But Omi tried not to think like that. The others just didn't understand. They saw a target and focused on their training to get the mission done. Omi saw a target and focused on his training to get the mission done and do what was right.
One day, he knew, the conflicting requirements of his life would kill him.
He wondered if that was a good thing.
Owari.
