Characters

Inuyasha – age 17

Long black hair like Sesshomaru's, markings like Sesshomaru's and instead of a moon Sam has a red and black star on her forehead as a sign as the next in line to the throne of the south.

Lord Sesshomaru – age 18

Rin – age 15

Shippo – age 16

And you all know the families so Im not gonna put them on here.

How it all came to be

13 years ago Sam was in an orphanage and no one would adopt her because she is a miko demon. Sam is a rare bread of Demon; in fact she is the last of her kind. Demons are common in the 21st sentry but not a lot of people like them around. The Higurashi's where looking to adopt a child because Mrs. Higurashi was told she couldn't have any more children. When they first met Sam they where surprised that she was a miko and demon. That didn't stop them from taking her home with them. After the adoption Mrs. Higurashi told Sam that the whole family where miko's and that they would train here to fight like one. What Sam didn't know was that the night of her adoption Mrs. Higurashi put Sam's demon blood to sleep and erased her memories of being a demon. As a few years when by Mr. and Mrs. Higurashi where going to have another child. Every one was so happy that they forgot the law that said only 2 children per family. Sam new the law for Sam was always reading at the library. When Sam gave them the news that she had to leave for them to keep the child Mrs. Higurashi's Father said that he would put Sam under his name as his child for Sam had become part of the family and no one would take them apart. The day after the child was born Mr. Higurashi was killed in a car accident. The child was named souta after his father. The years past it was 6 years after to be exact that Sam was adopted and Kagome and Sam where playing in the woods like they always did when they got really bored. Sam was on her way to hide when she pasted a demon cat. (Like kilala) laying down injured and had a littler of kitten demons with her. Sam stopped the game to help the cat with her babies. When same got closer to them the cat started to hiss at her. Sam didn't know why but she knew what the cat was saying and she hissed back that she was here to help them. The cat let Sam get closer and help her heal from the injury she had. After that Sam had helped the cat and her kittens they where always hanging around the shrine that The Higurashi have lived on. Sam watched the kittens grow and leave the shrine along with the mother, how ever there was one that always staid at the shrine. The kitten now a cat was the runt of the littler and Sam has always helped the cat. She even gave him a name and it was Damien. At the end of the 13 years Sam is now 17 and has been working to help out at the shrine. She was been working at a little store while at boarding school and over summer she worked at the market a block from the shrine. Sam was helping paying the bills and paying for Kagome, Souta, and Herself lunches at school, though Mrs. Higurashi didn't want her to and tried to give her the money Sam wouldn't take it.

Ok that was the first chapter and yeah it's not the greatest but it tells you all about how things went down. Everyone will be in the next chapter so be happy.
