Twenty minutes later and without a single possible solution left he was faced with Audrey's eyes glaring back at him.

"How am I the idiot?"
"Oh now you can read minds. Before when they were thinking about locking us in a meat locker you didn't hear any of that?"
Matt sighed, "I already said I was sorry. Can we just try and figure this out."
"Sure. How do you propose we get out of her? The door is sealed shut, they took our phones and, oh yeah it's freezing." She turned her back on him and crossed her arms, shivering.
He looked over and was embarrassed to realize that she had nothing but a thin t-shirt on while he had on a bulky jacket. He quickly took it off and wrapped it around her shoulders.
"Parkman I don't need…" she started to push it off but he kept his hands on her shoulders stopping her from taking it off.
"Just for a little bit, Aud, I don't want you to get sick. Just try and get warm, I'm going to try and contact Peter telepathically again."
He sat and concentrated, letting his mind go blank and thinking of nothing but reaching Peter. Finally he felt a tug in his mind, he wasn't sure, pushing out his thoughts was still new to him, but he felt that Peter had heard him.
"I think that might have done it," he tells Audrey who comes and sits next to him on the wooden crate, "But I'll keep trying anyway."
Audrey nodded, "Sorry, I yelled."
He put his arm around her and pulled her close, "S'okay. Besides if I had to be stuck in a freezer with anyone, it'd definitely be you."
