Nick was officially in a bad mood. After receiving a F on his Chemistry test, breaking his favorite lucky guitar, forgetting his homework, getting his sleeves of his shirt ripped by a very angry Stella, and getting smoothie all over his head, he was finally home. Home sweet home. His brothers were hanging with Stella and his parents were with Frankie at the park. He had the house all to himself. Well, until a loud door bell rang. Nick walked to the door and opened it. He was surprised to see Macy, the super fan, smiling at him at the other side.

"Macy?" Nick asked. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry Nick of Jonas. You just seemed really mad and I just wanted to see if you were okay?" Macy said as her softball bat swung wildly around.

"Whoa! Careful! Almost hit me there!"

"I'm so sorry!!" Macy said and tried to control the bat, but I hit him on the arm.

"Owwww! Macy!!!" Nick cried out in pain.

"I'm sorry. You know what I should just go. I don't want you to get hurt anymore," Macy said sadly and she started to walk away.

"Wait Macy! Please don't go!! Stay with me!!"

"Why?" Macy asked curiously.

"Because, you're the only person who actually cared enough about me to come check on me. Please stay Mace. I really don't want to be alone that much anymore," Nick begged.

"You… you just called me Mace. Only my friends call me Mace."

"I thought we were friends?" Nick asked and he looked down with hurt clearly on his face.

"I thought I was just the Super Fan. I thought I wasn't your friend. I guess I thought you only talked to me because I'm friends with Stella," Macy explained.

"That's not true Macy. You're my friend. You would still be my friend even if you and Stella weren't best buds."

"You mean that? Do you promise?"

"I promise Macy and I don't break promises. You really are my friend."

"Thanks Nick. I never thought that I would hear that from you, but I'm glad I did."

"I'm glad I said it. So Macy how about you come in and hang with me?" Nick asked.

"As friends and not as some Super Fan?"

"That's a definite yes Mace," Nick said and opened the door wider.

"Thanks Nick," Macy said as she smiled big.

"No Nick of Jonas?" Nick asked with surprise.

"Nope. Just Nick," Macy said as she walked inside.

"Why?"

"We are friends after all. I like to call my friends by their real name," Macy said happily.

"This is a start of a great friendship Mace. I'm really glad that I begged you to stay."

"Me too, Nick," Macy said and she turned to Nick and gave him a big hug. "Me too," Macy whispered as they let go of eachother slowly.
