Dead Eyes Part 1

Fox/Ben, Alex/Cub, Jack

Summary: Done in Fox's p.o.v. He sees what happens to Alex when Jack dies…. One shot

A/N: look out for Dead Eyes Part 2 I might get it up after this one.

We were in the cell Jack and Alex were huddled close to keep warm and where talking in hushed voices. Suddenly Cub jumped up and glared coolly at her.

"No you won't" was all he said and made his guardian flinch at the coldness in his eyes but also the fear, his eyes softened as he saw her flinch.

"No Jack you can't do it you and Ben are the only family I have left."

My heart clenches as I hear that and I smile sadly, SCORPIA had captured us 7 months ago and I doubt that they would ever let us go and there wasn't a way out that we hadn't thought of or tried. But I also think that Alex knew that we wouldn't get out of this alive.

2 guards held us apart while doctor Three waltzed in with an insane grin on his face.

"Rider! Today is the day, c'mon Miss Starbright!" while Three had been talking other guards set up a TV, and 2 other guards took hold of Jack.

We watched as Jack stood feebly in front of the pool 3 stopped at, "Jump in" he said pointing at the clear crystal water. We heard from the volume being turned up.

"Jump or be pushed!" he snarled losing his patience.

"Ben what is he doing?" Alex asked me and I stared confused just like Alex.

"I don't know" I said.

"Why?" jack asked and stared shakily at the water.

"3….

2…." A gun came out.

"1…." Jack jumped in.

"I can't swim!" The woman was struggling to stay up with her face up, her red hair floating in a silk wet cape behind her. Alex's eyes stared in horror as he realized what they were going to do.

"Swim Jack!" he whispered.

Her red hair tangled in her hands as she tried to get to the shallow end of the pool, but Three stopped her.

"SWIM!" snarled 3 as he got tired of being there.

"Can't!" wail-ed the woman.

"Okay"

3 picked up a rifle from the table out of view of the cameras.

"Say good bye Rider" 3 shot her through the brain right between the eyes.

The guard let us go and Alex crumpled but not before I saw his eyes.

Greif pain sorrow, and most of all hatred, once warm oasis water blue eyes no longer as they turned to ice and hardened and no trace of the teen I knew remained besides his cold aurora.

2 days later

But just than there was an explosion so loud that it shook the building. Alex had never talked to me but I saw his eyes flick to me and I couldn't stare at them for long they were cold and never would he be the same. 'Dead eyes', I thought, than I went to sleep for a while.
