Chizuru talks to himself.
He says things like hey, today's a good day and kanamecchi's so mean and ha ha ha ha oh ho ho ho hahahaha!
Actually, that last one's probably more like laughing to himself. But he only does it that way when there's something he can't express in words. A hidden thought – tantalising – a little bit too far out of his grasp.

There are things that Chizuru likes, and things that he does not.
But he doesn't overthink things. Or maybe he's a bit afraid to.

Since he was young, Chizuru has always wanted things he doesn't have. It is a bit of a shame when his parents tell him that game costs too much or he can't have this or that. Maybe next time…?

Chizuru doesn't think about what will happen when he grows up. It's because he's not meant to, not yet, not until it has already happened.

There's a girl Chizuru likes, but won't tell.
And if he pauses to think about it for even a moment, he won't even know why.
