A/N: So. You've probably figured out by now that this is another Maximum Ride one. Please read and REVIEW!
Hey. I'm Max, age 15. In my family there is my mom (Dr. Martinez), Ella (sister. 13), Nudge (my sister. She's 12), and Angel (my other sister. She's 7). Now, me and my family aren't 'normal'. Well, except for my mom and my regular sister, Ella. They're perfectly normal(ish). As normal as you can be when you have three birdkids under your roof.
Yes, I said birdkids. As in, wings. As in, me and my sisters. Yeah, I know, you probably think that it's just science fiction for kids to have wings. I'm telling you, it's not.
You see, me, Nudge and Angel aren't completely human. In fact, we are only 98% human. The other two percent has made a ton of difference in our lives. One of those differences was the fact that we have the aforementioned wings.
And here's another little thing about me and my sisters: We aren't really sisters. Okay, me and Ella are half-sisters, but that doesn't count. I'm talking about me, Nudge, and Angel. And you can tell that we aren't blood related very easily. Nudge has brown curlyish hair that goes a little past her shoulders; she has big brown eyes that can melt your heart if she tries; she's also African American. Angel has fair skin, beautiful blond curls that are almost shoulder length, and innocent looking wide blue eyes. I mean, what with my dirty blond hair that just barely touches my shoulders, my muddy brown eyes, and my not so fair skin, it's very easy to tell that we're not blood related.
Me and my mom really are blood related. Me and Ella are blood related, too. See, my mom supplied the egg that I came from, while the spawn of the devil supplied the other part. I'll explain the 'spawn of the devil' part later.
Now, me, Nudge and Angel have never gone to school. Never. So, I bet you can imagine how we reacted when my mom told us we had to go. No? Well, I'll give you the basics of the conversation:
Mom: Max, Nudge, Angel, you're going to school.
Me: What? No! But - but -
Mom: No buts! You're going!
Nudge: Yes! I've always wanted to go to school! Yay! Wait, will there be uniforms, or can we wear whatever we want?
Mom: There are uniforms. Here, I already have them for you. *pulls out a bunch of clothes*
Angel: We're gonna go to school? Yay! I wanna make new friends!
Me: Noooooooooooo! I hate school! Why? Why me?
Angel: It's gonna be great!
Me: It's gonna be horrible!
Nudge: Well, even if we do have to wear uniforms, at least we get to go to school! Yayayayayayay! *does happy dance*
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why do you love to torture me so?
Mom: Honey, it'll be just fine. It's not going to be 'torture'.
Me: It is! I'm going to DIE!
Mom: No, you won't. Stop talking like that! Now, go to bed! You need to rest up because you start school tomorrow!
Me: Fine! *runs up to room and slams door*
Back to the present.
My mom was making us go to school. Things couldn't get much worse than they are now.
I was completely and utterly wrong.
A/N: I know, it was short, don't get your panties in a wad. But tell me what you think of it in a review other than it's short, 'cause I already know that. PLEEEEEAAAASSSSE REVIEW?
