Hey people yes this is just another one of my many one-shots I am doing while I wait for the first review for my stories so I get the winner and the outcome of the poll for my other story seriously guys and you know I'm serious 'cause I'm not making the joke please vote on the poll and please review because other whys I can only write these little one-shots.
Any I am mixing it up a bit because this is not a Harry Potter fanfic I know shock horror no this is a little story for Glee (which you probably already know) no spoilers for any episodes just a sort of speculation thing.
Invisible.
One word summed up their social standing at William McKinley High School.
They were not popular not shunned really no one really even knew they were there at all.
They were the band for the glee club they never sung, never said a word during rehearsals just waited in the background ready to back them up with all the music they needed.
Before the glee club they were still the band but they didn't really have anything to play music for just themselves and the occasional assembly.
But they might just know the most about the glee club and its members.
They had been there for everything, seen everything never commenting just watching, all of them merely standing there silent witnesses to all of the chaos.
Through all of the preparations for contests diva offs and fights nothing had ever really happened to them.
A blessing and a curse.
A blessing because they were never taunted, never hurt and never slushied and this was more than any of the others involved in glee club could say.
A curse because they were isolated. Isolated in a club about inclusion. It was no one's fault they knew they were not the stars and in honesty they didn't want to be they weren't as confident as Rachel or Kurt not as strong minded as Mercedes or Santana and certainly not as sure of themselves as Quinn or Puck.
But they wanted recognition. Recognition for what they had done right and guidance if they did something wrong.
But they didn't they found it out for themselves and they didn't make that many mistakes.
None of them were particularly good or bad at other things not great grades but not awful ones none of them were great at sports. They focused on music.
The power behind the throne, the music behind the lyric and they were all content with being just that. For now.
They were not popular not shunned really no one really even knew they were there at all.
One word summed up their social standing at William McKinley High School.
Invisible.
Well there you go I don't like it as much as I would like to but I do like it I always wondered how the members of the band for the glee club would be treated by their peers (I know it's a kind of weird thing to think about but hey what can you do?) and I think this is good way to describe it.
Well thanks for reading please review (and read and review my other stories and VOTE ON THE POLL)
Goodbye now
