Byakuya sighed as he read over the rest of the paper. It was that time again, new recruits. The shinigami academy had just graduated a batch of new shinigami which left the thirteen court guard squad captains sorting through profiles and recommendations trying to either fill spots or gain some new recruits.
Byakuya in particular was looking for a new vice captain. Renji had been promoted to a captain because of his strength and got almost every captain's recommendation also.
Out of all of these profiles that he had read through only one seemed to be fit for his squad. "Kuchiki Taicho I brought your tea" Richiki said interrupting Byakuya's thoughts. "Thank you" Byakuya solemnly replied taking a sip of his tea. "n-no it was my pleasure!" Rikichi replied still weary about how to reply without Renji giving him signals from his desk trying to help him. Rikichi sighed missing Renji and turned to leave when Byakuya called his name "Rikichi." "Hai Taicho" he replied fast a curtly as if it was and instinct. "Can your run by the academy and pick up the official file for this student?" he said handing Rikichi the document. " And if the student is available could you bring them in for a interview?" he finished. finished. "Hai Kuchiki taicho!" Rikichi replied scurrying out of the office to get the task done, leaving Byakuya alone to finish his tea and paperwork.
