The Knight and Princess...How original.
Once upon a time their lived a young princess Molly. Her hair was brown as chocolate, gleaming in the sun and her lips as pink as tulips. She lived in a castle tucked away in the forrest.
No one could find her.
On the morning of her eighteenth birthday, the sound of hundreds of nights and kings-men blast through the air. They came in ridding on white stallions into the clearing where her tower stood, aligning in formations meant to intimidate.
Molly was scared, in eighteen years, the only person she had spoken to was her rotating guards and her pet cat, Toby.
Her breath hitched as she looked upon the clearing, heart beating fast in her chest, for the three main knights rode closer to the castle, the middle knight jumped gracefully off his horse.
In a moment of panic, she gathered every bit of courage she had in her tiny, mousy body.
"What do you want?" she called, the fear rushing in her veins, strength seeping into her usually quiet voice.
The knight moved closer to the castle and slowly removed his helmet. His hair was pitch black and his eyes were like blue ice, just like his frosting persona that made her shake with apprehension.
She called again.
"What do you want?"
The knight took another stride forward.
"I am sir sherlock, leader of the kings-guard and knights. His deep voice rumbled through the clearing like thunder.
"I was sent here by King John the first and her majesty Queen Mary. I would like to speak privately if your lady would allow it?"
The princess held her ground for a brief second, pondering the next move.
She nodded, and the knight strode forward, making his way toward tower.
