Parasite sighed as his life has been nothing short of misery. The highlight of his childhood was getting pushed into a pool of toxic chemicals by a group of bullies. Enraged by the intense pain and torment he vowed to return the favor of payback.
His endgame was to use an advanced generator to gain enough power to rule over the entire planet.
Many stood in the way of his conquest and paid dearly for it. However when all hope was lost a strange but powerful woman defeated him. After the whole ordeal he was sent to prison for his crimes. He wasn't taken to a regular cell like most normal criminals but to a unique one that completely naturalizes most of his powers. Parasite swears to enact revenge but for right now he really can't do much.
The entrance door opened as a figure began walking towards him. Parasite groaned as he was in no mood for company. "Please respect my whishes and leave." He voiced with irritation. "Not until we have a little chat!" He recognized that voice with hostility.
"What brings you here yet again?" He asked. Diana appeared as she folded her arms with a disappointed look.
Things haven't been pleasant between them for good reason. When they first met it escalated into a fight inside an office building where Diana tossed him right out the back window. "Nothing besides the usual wasted potential." She replied. Parasite leaned on his shoulder. "At least I didn't myself sell out to the government." He muttered under his breath which Diana caught.
"Could you repeat that?" She asked. "I would but it's almost time for lunch." He retorted. Diana started to imagine large amounts of food while licking her lips. Parasite snickered as she was practically drooling with little control.
After a few more seconds Diana quickly snapped out of it. "That's not going to work a second time!" She pouted. "Whatever helps you sleep at night princess."
Diana felt a burst of anger flow within her. She can't stand evil no matter what form it takes. Parasite on the other hand couldn't bother to care any less. "All you do is harm innocent people!" Diana yelled slamming down on his cell.
"Well it's not like they didn't have it coming." Parasite remarked. Diana growled in frustration as she felt no progress was being made. "Not another word out of you!" She demanded. Parasite rolled his eyes not having a choice given his predicament. "Stop limiting yourself to revenge." Diana pleaded. "Instead you should rise above those who brought you down!"
Parasite was never the person to quit before getting even. "Many years ago I was tasked with ending a conflict before it destroyed our world." He raised an eyebrow as she continued. "The problem with an eye for an eye is both end up blind!" Parasite still couldn't fathom why he was forced to endure this.
Getting locked up is one thing but to see your hated enemy is complete damnation. At this point he just doesn't care anymore.
"Excellent speech!" Parasite shouted as Diana lit up with joy. "You mean it?" She asked cheerfully. "Oh yeah absolutely!" Parasite replied with sarcasm. "Why bother to attack people who clearly deserve it?"
Diana paused for a moment as Parasite caught himself. "I mean as in don't hold on to a grudge." He stated. "Well at least you finally realized the problem!" Diana beamed.
"Violence has never solved anything before and never will later!" Parasite grinned evilly as he was in the early phases of a new plan. Since he can't match the Amazon in strength might as well go for a different tactic. "Who knew a goddess could be so damn stupid?" Parasite thought to himself.
He decided now would be the perfect time to use full advantage of her naivety. "Can I get released now?" Parasite asked.
"Only if you promise to never do anything evil again!" Diana replied. She walked towards him with a rather stern look on her face. "You won't be leaving here no time soon until I hear you say it." Parasite narrowed his eyes as he obviously had no intention of doing that. "Actions speak louder than words!" He said. "Meaning?" Diana asked. A loud crash shook the entire area with both of them inside.
Diana rightfully became very worried. "What the hell is going on?" She asked. "Let me out of here and I'll tell you!" Parasite joked as she glared at him.
"We can resolve this later." Diana stated as she went to investigate the situation. Right when she left the facility lights blacked out. Parasite opened the door to his cell ready to get back to work. "Sooner than you realize!"
