I don't own either of these two. This is just an idea I had after reading one Sue!Legolas description too many.
The dark-haired man looked lovingly at the golden beauty beside him as they stood side-by-side, their bodies together as though created thus, his arm around a slender waist, a lovingly sculpted cheek resting on his shoulder. He ran careful fingers through the sunlit tresses, took a delicate hand in his, marvelled at the fact that this palm was as callused as his own. Ah, the wild courage of his beloved! That was what he had first loved. He had heard the tales and wondered, but now he knew the heart behind those reckless acts of daring and he loved. Beauty had not faded, rather it had grown through the time they had spent together. Now, when he looked into those steel-grey eyes, he no longer saw the sadness that had once haunted them.
Surprised by his silence and stillness, the slim figure shifted, and the fair face turned to gaze up at him.
"Is something wrong?"
Even if there was no beauty in form or spirit, that voice would hold him spellbound.
"Nothing, my love," he said with a smile. "I was just thinking."
"You think too much, Faramir," laughed Éowyn, and after a moment her husband laughed with her.
