"Kate? Doc wanted- Hey! What do you think you're doing?"
"Playin'. What's it look like?"
"Oh no, get away from that now! I've seen what you do to computers! You are not ruining my Nintendo 64! It's an antique!"
"Okay, geez! I was just messing around!"
Throwing the controller on the coffee table with a huff, she was already out the door as he rushed to check the state of his baby.
It was then that he realized just what was on the screen.
Mario Kart, and she'd just beaten his fastest time.
Damn.
He caught up with her halfway down the hallway.
"Kate! Wait up! Have you ever played Halo?"
"As if, Hank!" she scoffed, rolling her eyes at him before starting to walk further down the hall.
"Is that a yes?"
"No!"
Oh yeah, he grinned, there was a gamer girl in the Sanctuary.
