This is a very depressing, most likely one-shot. I dunno, maybe I'll get some ideas later. Oh, and if you like my stories, rate and review.

I looked up into the night sky as the first wave of the Irken armada attacked.

"Zim," I said to the immense mother ship. "I hate you with every fiber of my being! You broke my heart, burned it and threw the ashes to the four corners of the Earth. I wish I never met you, you cold-hearted bastard!" I threw the gold-plated ring brandishing the Irken symbol to the ground and ran into the forgiving arms of my former lover, Dib. We held each other close as the missiles fell to the ground, engulfing us in flame, and I remembered how this all began.

The Irken was kind, he seemed to actually love me. Dib was always standing next to me, ready to catch me as I fell. That's what true love was, but I was too blind to recognize that Zim was pure poison. Loving him made sense in my crazed, desperate mind. I rushed into his arms, but he let me fall into the abyss behind him. His eyes gave away no sign of the ugliness behind the ruby tinted beauty. I would have died for him, for he saw me as his pawn. I watched as he threw me to the ground and escaped. The next week, They attacked. We were slaves, but escaped at the first chance we got. But I never escaped, not really. I shall forever be a slave, encased in ruby-colored bars.
