Hate
You want Patty to pay.
Pay for lying, manipulating and hurting you. You want her to pay for trying to kill. And you want her to pay for involving you in all this chaos, because that was the reason of David's death.
You hate her.
You hate her for keep smiling and treating you like a friend after tried to put an end in your life and you hate to have to pretend that you don't hate her because otherwise she will realize that you're against her.
You hate her so fucking much for looking sympathetic at you about David and for inviting you for a drink with her. You hate yourself for being so soft and to feel touched by the gesture even knowing that she is a liar. And you stay for the drink. And at the end of this night you will want to kill yourself of hate and guilt.
Patty talks to you about everything but business and David, and as the booze becomes more and more you see her eyes seem alive and caring, and she smiles at you in that angelical way that she did at the beach house.
After trying to kill you.
You both know each other good enough to know that you won't stop Patty once her hand slide up your thigh. And you know that the only reason that she kept you near is because you know way too much to be out of her view.
Keep enemies closer.
And she knows that there is something else about you staying after everything happened with David. Something bigger than your sense of justice and your fight (that you both know that will be useless) to link Arthur with David's death.
So you're trapped together for a long time. And you hate the fact that even after all of this your skin still burns when she looks at you in a certain way.
You fuck her brutally with no patient or mercy, burying three fingers at once and bleeding her lips. It never really happened with David, his lips weren't as delicate as hers, or you weren't that violent, you can't really tell. She doesn't complain and you see that she enjoys the pain; she deserves anyway.
When she turns to you her face is flushed and she can hardly breathe. She smiles at you just like that day at the beach house and you know that she is going to be gentle and soft to you like you weren't with her.
She knows that you need this as much as you needed to cause her pain and you hate her again and again for making you feel better after destroying your life.
