I am posting this here as I have nowhere else to put it. It was drabble dare over on a Pokemon site. The drabble dare was to write something that involved spiders with any pairing. Sticking to Pokemon, I used Ultravioletshipping, which is Espeon and Eevee. I tired to write something cute, so let's see how horridly I fail at cute.
For those of you who might remember, this is based off of that one episode where the bug Pokemon are attacking the city.
Note: Not in my usual first-person point view. I thought it would be a good chance to get some third-person practice in.

A mild wind scratched at the back of a light purple creature as the Bell Tower chimed loudly. A small yawn escaped his mouth as he stretched his nimble legs out. His delicate body was stiff from sleeping in so late, a bizarre thing for him to do. Ignoring the odd fact the Bell Tower had made a sound, he began making his way over to the city.
With nothing else to do, as he was practically lazy for an Espeon, he watched as the humans made a seemingly panicked reaction to the world about them. His ears pricked up and the bright, red gem on his forehead began to glow. His delayed senses had finally picked up on trouble and the cause for the humans' current state. Sighing, "Espe..." he quickly ran into the direction of the forest. His slender body dodging the legs of the humans that flew by him and the attacks of some very angry bug Pokemon.
The closer he got the forest the more ruined Ecruteak City became. Webs covered the city's once beautiful buildings and bug-type Pokemon crawled their nests with rage, taking aim at anything that moved. He could hear the screams of people that had been trapped in their homes, but one scream stood out to him. It was not the cry of a human, but of a Pokemon. That was the noise that he ran to. Entering the forest, he was quickly attacked by a group of Ariados and thrown from the path. Dodging a string shot, he quickly shouted at the Pokemon before releasing a psybeam on them. He was in a hurry and could not have cared any less for the Pokemon, though he would soon find himself in far over his head. Finally, he reached the back of the forest and the source of the cry. A small Eevee was entangled on a giant web that had been laced around two of the biggest trees in the forest. Its small body struggled to break free, but it was not strong enough. Ariados surrounded the web, moving in closer to the tiny creature.
"Espe, espeon!" The purple creature called to the spider-like Pokemon. His tail raised in the air as he tired to appear more threatening to the others. The spider Pokemon removed themselves from their web and came at him, ignoring the helpless prey that was still caught in their trap.
"Vee!" The Eevee yelled in concern, trying to gain the attention of the aggressive Pokemon, but her attempt was fruitless. The Espeon had enraged them and they had lost their interest in her. With an onslaught of Pin Missiles, the Psychic Pokemon was forced to back away. despite the attacks weakness. Annoyed beyond his mind, The Espeon let a strong Psybeam out at the group. Fearing for themselves, the Ariados retreated. He was too much for them and they were not looking for a strong opponent.
"Es, espe!" He cried as his tail turned to iron and he cut the webs down, freeing the Eevee from her trap. "Vee, eevee!" She stated happily as she ran to the Espeon, licking his face. "Es..." His tail wrapped around the tiny Pokemon and he rubbed his face against hers, happy to be reunited with his love.
