Draco had never felt love before. He had never had love, or really experienced it. Without the presence of the feeling, he easily got attatched to random objects, e.g his wand, or his spell book, or some money. He'd always wanted to love something more proper, even if the feeling wasn't quite actable upon. And although he wasn't quite sure what it would feel like, he was pretty sure that he was in love the the juicy green apple in his hands. He couldn't get enough of the taste, and day after day, he'd pick another one from the tree outside his house. And today, he had the ripest apple of the bunch, which definitely looked the tastiest.
Grinning, Draco rubbed the apple on his shirt and brought it to his mouth. He gently sunk his teeth into it's crisp surface, a sweet favour oozing out. The pleasant flavoured juice then slid down the back of Draco's throat, urging him to further sink in his teeth. He did just that. Desire burned deep within him, and Draco took a much harder bite this time, clamping his teeth around a piece and slicing it off. As he slowly crunched it, drawing out every nibble to taste each flavour, Draco tried to imagine what he used to eat each day before apples. But it was unthinkable. How had he lived without these luxurious tastes? These were the flavours of only his wildest dreams.
"Draco, drop that god damn apple and get to work."
But Draco didn't hear the voice of his father asking him to perform his duties. His world was surrounded by this glorious apple that was consuming his thoughts. The liquid oozing from it was sliding down his throat like it was drops of heaven, which is how he would have described it anyway. The flavour of the actual apple itself was more than Draco could have dreamed to taste, well that's what he was currently thinking anyway, and he wished his apple would go on forever. But it didn't. It ended as quickly as he had slipped into the garden for his treat, and now, he'd have to wait until tomorrow. The next fifteen hours or so would be hell without that small ball of sweetness, but Draco would have to live. And if he didn't, he'd forever be with the only thing he'd ever loved... As of yet.
Short, but sweet? Haha, think I overused that word:L
Hope you liked it:')
