Amy was worried and for once it wasn't for the normal reasons. Not worried that some crazy alien monster was about to kill her with its crazy green acid. Not worried that Rory had nearly got himself killed trying to help a crazy green alien. Not worried that she had just got gunk in hair… but worried that the Doctor hadn't left the TARDIS in over six hours and in that time all he had done was sit and look at some withered old photograph. He hadn't slept, eaten or even spoke that much and that was defiantly not like the Doctor.

'Doctor are you going to get off your backside and so something or are you just going to sit there sulking' Amy suddenly said after about an hour of her and Rory sat in the control room only silence passing there lips as they watched the Doctor smile, frown and even sigh whilst looking at the photograph.

'Give me a few more minutes' the Doctor said 'I'll be with you in a bit'

'Doctor, I don't mean to offend but you said that six hours ago when you found that photo left in one of the spare rooms' Rory said.

'In a minute' the Doctor said glancing up. Amy was surprised to see that the Doctor's eyes had suddenly grown old, weary and hurt.

Amy jumped to her feat and grabbed the photograph out of her hand. She was expecting a picture of some beautiful landscape, maybe him and a friend but all it seemed to be was a small picture of a blonde girl with bright blue eyes and a rather pretty smile. She was stood with a man who Amy could have sworn she had seen before.

'Hey!' the Doctor suddenly yelled 'Give that back'

'No!' Amy said 'Not until you tell me who they are!'

'They were just… friends of mine!' the Doctor said stammering over the words.

'If they were just friends then why have you been sat staring at the darn picture for six hours!' Amy said and she could tell that the Doctor was stuck for words 'Just be honest, Doctor. Who are they?'

'They used to travel in the TARDIS and that is all you need to know!' the Doctor said 'Now who is up for going to Raxacoricofallapatorius?'

Amy was annoyed that the Doctor was so unwilling to talk and so willing to change the subject but she knew she'd get it out of them. However, one thing was for certain, whoever was in that photo meant an awful lot to him.
