"This year for a musical, we will be doing Wicked!" Ms. Darbisher exclaimed. Gabriella looked up. She loved that book and the musical! Troy cought her eye and grinned.
"Are we in?" He mouthed. Gabriella nodded. Troy elbowed Chad and whispered in his ear, Chad whispered it to Taylor.
"Hellooo, ms. Elphaba!" Taylor whispered into Gabriella's ear. She giggled. Ms. Darbisher looked up. "Ms. Montez, would you like to share something with the class?" She demanded. Gabriella shook her head.
"I'm going to make you popular!" Sharpay sang. Gabriella rolled her eyes, god, she was soo annoying!
"Thank you, Sharpay." Ms. Darbisher said with a dismissive wave. "Gabriella Montez." Gabriella walked up on the stage and started singing.
"I'm not that girl." She finished the song and walked off the stage.
