"Uhm, hello. Do you think I can sit here?" Raven said with a smile, "Everywhere is full."
"Sure." Neville moved his luggage over.
Raven went and sat down in front of Neville. "Hello, I'm Raven. What's your name?"
"Neville. Neville Longbottom."
"Nice to meet you, Neville." She smiled at him.
Suddenly, Neville's toad leaped out of his hands.
Raven caught the toad and looked at him, "Aww, he's so cute. I love reptiles." Raven cooed at the toad, she handed him back to Neville. "What's his name?"
"Trevor. Are you fond of animals?" said Neville.
"Yes, my favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures. I just love learning about magical and non magical animals. Their fascinating."
"Really? That's my favorite class also!"
"Cool! I think Hagrid is a great teacher. I think he loves animals more than I do." She laughed softly.
"Are you a Gryffindor?" said Neville with hope
"No, I'm a Slytherin. But I'm actually one of the nice Slytherins. I could care less about blood or house status." Raven looked at him and smiled. "Please don't judge me because I'm a Slytherin."
"No! Of course not. Some great people are actually Slytherins." what on Earth was he saying
Raven smiled brightly at him, It's ok, I know there aren't alot of great Slytherins. My father was a Lion, but the Sorting Hat thought I had more Slytherin traits than Gryffindor."
Just at that moment the candy cart was arriving at their booth. "Do you want anything?" asked Neville.
"Uhm sure, chocolate frog." Raven went to get some knuts out of her pocket.
"Oh don't worry about it."
She smiled at him, "Oh, thank you Neville."
"Any time." He went and got two chocolate frogs.
She sat and waited for Neville to get back, when he sat back down in front of her. She took the chocolate frog he got her. "Yum. My favorite!
"Yeah. Mine too." Neville gave a gentle smirk.
Raven giggled softly, she nibbled on her chocolate.
Neville unwrapped the chocolate frog. Then, all of a sudden, Trevor grabbed the chocolate frog and ran out of the compartment.
Raven watched Trevor run out of the compartment, she stood up and followed him. "Trevor!" She called after him. "Come back!"
Neville quickly followed. On his way out he bumped into Draco Malfoy.
"Watch where you're going Longbottom." Draco sneered at Neville. Raven heard Dracos annoying voice as turned around and saw him bullying Neville, she walked over towards them and said "Draco! Leave Neville alone, come on Neville." She grabbed Nevilles hand and tugged him down the trains hallway so they could look for Trevor.
"Got a girlfriend Longbottom?"
Raven turned around and glared at Draco, "Jealous because you don't Malfoy?" She smirked at the look in his face. "Come on, Neville. We got to find Trevor."
Neville left with a smile on his face. Raven had stood up for him, like a true friend.
Raven smiled at Neville, she looked and saw Trevor sitting in a corner she ran towards him and grabbed him. "I got him, Neville!" She cried happily.
Neville ran over. Raven gently handed over Trevor. "Thanks."
