Finally, another story up! I wrote this after I'd fallen out with a friend but … enjoy!
Chocolate Disasters
"Do you think a strawberry smoothie, or a chocolate milkshake?"
Lily held the two flavours up to her eyes, and studied them carefully. It was the last day of Hogwarts before they broke up for the Christmas break, and she was determined to make it worthwhile.
Her friend, Anna, looked at her from her bed, where she was busy mixing and melting a load of different sweets for them to dunk in the chocolate.
"Why don't you have them both?" she suggested, carrying on pulping marshmallows.
Lily frowned at the two glasses. "Yes, I suppose … that could work … or … I'll mix them together! Yes, that's what I'll do!" She grinned, and pulled a large bowl from under her bed, (borrowed from the school kitchens), and poured the two mixtures in.
"Oh."
The drink had turned purpley brown. Lily raised her eyebrows, and sniffed it.
"That looks delicious!"
Anna stared at her in amazement. "No it doesn't, it looks like a dog has done it's business in the bowl!" she exclaimed, pulling a face. Lily glared at her. Then she grinned.
"We could put Butterbeer in it," she said, pulling a bottle from under her bed, (also borrowed from the kitchens), and poured it in. "And some … Fizz bombs …" Lily dropped them into the bowl. Anna widened her eyes, jumped off her bed, scrambled to the bathroom, and peered through the small gap she had left open.
"Come on, Anna, what's the worse that can happen?"
BOOM!
The bowl exploded, sending the chocolate-strawberry-Butterbeer-Fizzbomb smoothie everywhere. Anna screeched, and slammed the door shut. But Lily - well, Lily was right in the middle of it. She was covered in brown gloop from head to toe; it was hard to tell where her face was.
Anna tentatively opened the door, and tiptoed out, and over to Lily.
"Lily?" she whispered. "Are you alright?"
The answer she got was a spray of smoothie over her face, as Lily spat it out of her mouth.
"Oh, yeah," Lily spluttered sarcastically. "Never been better."
Anna wiped the gloop off her face, and turned to observe the room. The walls were plastered with it; the beds dripping, and the floor splattered.
"How are we going to fix this?" cried Anna, squashing her hands onto her face. Lily stood up, scraping the stuff off her, and went to stand next to Anna.
"Well … we could always lick it off?"
