A/N: So I wanted to make a HIMYM Canadian joke fic – because I can, that's why.
"Robin, please, that's the most stupidest thing I've ever heard."
"You mean the stupidest?"
"Not now, Ted, I'm having a private conversation," Barney said momentarily glancing at Ted before turning his attention back to the phone call he was having with Robin.
"No," Barney said once more. "No – Robin, Robin, Roland? ROBIN!" He screeched into his cell phone, in frustration. A moment later it was next to his ear again. "Hello? Great, she hung up."
"Are you sure it was your screaming that did it?" Ted offered, putting another spoonful of cereal in his mouth.
"Ted, this is not good, not good at all." He dropped onto the couch, next to Ted. "Ted?" he fearfully turned to Ted who continued to eat his breakfast.
"Yeah?"
"Ted, do you have any idea what this crazy... gorgeous... I mean, really, she is hot, you know? – and smart too... she's great, Robin's awesome, I'm like the luckiest guy alive and –"
"Barney?" Ted interrupted.
"Huh? Oh, right. She wants to go back home on vacation – home to Canada! Ugh," he grimaced, "Ted? Ted, why'd she have to be from Canada? Why couldn't she be an American like everyone else!"
"Not everyone's American, Barney."
"I know that. God, Ted. We were just talking about Canada, I mean really? Focus, dude."
"Just go, Barney. She'll be real happy, you'll be able to meet some of her family and you might come to like Canada."
Barney slowly turned to face Ted, disgusted by the very idea.
"For Robin's sake?"
Barney's tense expression dropped immediately and he sighed. Whimpering, he added, "Canada... why did it have to be Canada?"
