Okay, this isn't the best story I've ever done. But, in my defense, I've been editing and writing stories all week long. So, I needed to finish this. At this point, I haven't even started Chapter 8 for The End of an Age. I should have Chapter 8 and a new one shot out in a few days.

In the meantime, please enjoy this poorly written sad story.

Leo and Calypso soared above the clouds atop Festus. They could hear the waves crashing from below and the wind blew through their hair.

To pass the time, Leo hummed a tune as Calypso sang a song.

"I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world I'm coming home

Let the rain wash away

All the pain of yesterday

I know my kingdom awaits

And they've forgiven my mistakes

I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world that I'm coming, home,"

Calypso smiled as her arms tightened around Leo's waist.

"We're almost there," she whispered.

They could hear the thunder crashing from above them. Lightning flashed and Festus tried to level himself out to keep his passengers Sea of Monsters was never a pleasant place. It was even worse when you are caught in a storm.

Leo could feel Calypso's grip slipping in the strong wind.

"Calypso, hang on! We're almost through!" He yelled frantically.

"I'm trying!" she yelled.

Then, a strong wind hit and Calypso lost her grip on Leo. Leo could hear her screaming as she fell.

"Calypso!" he screamed.

Festus flew downwards as fast as he could, trying to catch her, but it was in vain. She was gone.

You could hear Leo's cries of pain from miles around.

Leo walked along the beach, his feet barely touching the water. There was a pained smile on his face.

It had been 6 months since he got back to camp. It was the hardest time of his life next to when his mother died.

He had barely gotten near the water, unable to deal with the memories that came back. But, he tried to focus on the good times he had with her.

So, he murmured a song. The same song she sang just hours before the Sea of Monsters.

"I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world I'm coming home

Let the rain wash away

All the pain of yesterday

I know my kingdom awaits

And they've forgiven my mistakes

I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world that I'm coming, home,"

Okay, I'm going to address some stuff. I can hear you telling me that this was fast and I didn't explore all of the sad emotions that I should have. I know. But, as I said before, I've been really busy writing. Right now, all I want to do is relax for like a month.

But, I can't do that because I've made a commitment to this site and to all of you. I promised myself I wouldn't be one of those writers who updated and created stories months in between each other. So, give me some slack.

What do you think? What couple should I do next? Please tell me in the reviews.
