Midnight Surprise

Here's my second story and first attempt at Hinny. Reviews are most welcome. Its not the best...but I hope you enjoy!

The Boy-Who-Lived,the Chosen One,and now,after the war,the man who defeated you-know-who was happily laying on his bed & was on the verge of sleeping when he was shook by none other than the love of his life,a red-head,his chosen one,who was laying next to him.

"Harry?"

"Hmm...Ginny?" mumbled Harry sleepily.

"Harry?"

"Ginny?"

"Harry?"

"Wait! What's going on?" asked Harry turning to face his wife with a frown on his face.

"Um..nothing,uh,nothing" said Ginny getting red in face.

"Harry?" said Ginny again,just a minute later.

"Ginny? What's wrong? Speak up or let me sleep" said Harry getting a little annoyed.

"No,there's nothing important, you sleep" said Ginny.

But after a second or so when Ginny was about to say her husband's name again,he got up & settled himself in a sitting position and said "Tell me what's bothering you,please."

"Um...Harry I don't know how you will take it..." Ginny tried telling him but was cut off by his husband.

"What's the matter? Don't tell me,please don't tell me you want to leave me" panicked Harry.

"No love,I am not going to leave you,don't you know I can't live without you?" Ginny smiled.

"Yes,I know,what is it,then?"

"Harry,I don't know how to say it,you know,its just that I am pregnant" muttered Ginny nervously.

Harry was unable to do anything,but blink stupidly,processing the words through his mind. Meanwhile,Ginny was getting more and more scared with each passing second.

"Harry" Ginny called but he didn't react.

"Harry,Harry say something its getting really scary"

But Harry didn't say a word instead he got up from the bed paced over to the side Ginny was sitting on with tears in her eyes, he then lifted & swung her around to let his lips meet hers. The kiss was too full of bliss,passion and many other feelings and above all love.

"Ginny love,you are amazing.I love you" said Harry grinning.

"Love you too"

"Wait! You were scared to tell me this? When did you find out? Does anyone in the family knows? How are you feeling? Should we go see a doctor now?" said Harry freaking out.

"Take a breath, Harry...no I was not scared just nervous,I found it yesterday morning & it took me time to think how to tell you something like this & no one in the family knows, I thought you should be the first and lastly we don't have to go see a doctor now,in the middle of the night. I am pregnant,not sick."

Ginny was laughing at Harry who had the expression of ecstasy mixed with relief.

"Stop laughing at me,I was concerned, I don't have much experience with babies,its the first time" said Harry defensively.

"Oh,how adorable! Mr. Potter is having his first time with a baby and me, I have got experience of all this,I have had a dozen of babies,right?" replied Ginny sarcastically.

"You are at-least a girl"

"And how does that change anything?"

"...and you are from a family which had seven babies"

"Just to remind you, I was the youngest & therefore had no experience with any babies."

"Chuck it" said Harry before bursting out laughing at the stupid conversation & soon Ginny joined in.

"Love, you have given me a midnight don't know how much this means to me."

"Me too & I know what it means, means the same to me"

" I think we are leaving someone out of conversation" said Harry before going on his knees to kiss Ginny's stomach. "Dad loves you too, Lil one" muttered Harry.

Harry got up & pecked Ginny on her lips.

"I am a little scared I hope it will all go well"

" I know you are scared,so am I,but you don't need to be, whatever comes we will face it together."

"Thanks,I know you will be at my side..."

"Always",completed Harry smiling.
