• Just as the starting point of any existence is the [Origin, the starting point of any [Spell] is its [Alignment].
• Every Magus possesses an [Alignment]. This [Alignment] determines what type of [Magecraft] they are able to enact.
• The formation of a [Spell] can be likened to that of marble rolling along a set of paths, the side of which leads to naught but an abyss.
• The paths the marble is able to roll upon are the paths that the [Spell] may take upon creation.
• Rolling the marble along the paths is analagous to the focus required to construct a [Spell]. If the focus is weak, the marble falls off of the paths into the abyss, and the [Spell] fails.
• The distance of a path is the power of the [Spell]. The greater the distance, the more powerful the [Spell].
• The number of turns along the path represent the complexity of the spell. The greater the complexity of the [Spell, the greater the amount of turns the marble must take to reach the end of the path. As turning is of greater difficulty than simply traveling along a straight path, this represents the greater difficulty of more complex [Spells].
• The greater the compatibility of the purpose of the [Spell] with its conceptual basis([Alignment]), the wider a given path. If the purpose of the [Spell] is not compatible in any way, the width of its representative path is zero. This represents the greater focus required to utilize less compatible [Spells, in that guiding a marble along a thinner path over a given distance is easier when the path is wider. In this same manner, a further analogy could be represented as cracks, fissures, and holes along the path.
Thus, the creation of a spell requires starting from the given conceptual basis provided by the Magus' [Alignment]. Greater power requires greater Magical Energy. Greater complexity and less compatibility with the original [Alignment] requires greater focus when crafting the [Spell]. [Attributes] may be added to the [Spell Construct, altering it from its original form. Given enough alteration, the original [Alignment] of a spell may become impossible to discern.
