Time Will Tell
Time will tell if the world will end, and a glorious
celebration will ensue.
Time will tell, if the leaves continue to grow and
Change with fading colour.
In time, we can see if you've grown since we last met,
And after years, we can see how time
Treats us with age.
After tomorrow, you will know if today is just a day.
Or something more?
By the time the evening descends, you will know if today was normal.
Threaded together in a glistering mass, of lives,
Or memories and wishes. Of dreams. Only time will tell
If the stars do grant your wishes, if
Gods return their follower's calls and if things
Are meant to happen. Intricate stitches, as lives are woven by the oracles,
Each piece of silk a beating heart. A new tomorrow.
Connections, reflections and mimicry, following a path lain barren.
Shape the tomorrow you haven't yet met,
Guide the forever you are so very far from,
And see what the story is that time tell you.
