1. Fer Sure – The Metric Droid
If there was one thing Pavel was sure of, no matter if she loved him or not, T'La was beautiful when she cried.
2. But It's Better If You Do – Panic! At the Disco
Pavel Chekov looked around the night club the crew had brought him to for his eighteenth birthday. Flashing lights and pounding bass didn't even bother him as long as he got to watch her dance.
3. New Divide – Linkin Park
Staring up at the sky as the lightning flashed and rain began to fall, Chekov began to feel the divide widen between him and his family. His mother had been the glue. Without her the pieces were quickly falling apart. The ensign looked down at the still freshly disturbed earth. Two thin arms wrapped around his middle from behind and Pavel realized that no matter how big the divide widened, T'La would help him bridge it.
4. Falling Inside the Black – Skillet
The only thing Pavel hated about the sickbay was that it was where he had to watch Dr. McCoy try and retrieve T'La as she fell into the black.
5. Clair de Lune – Debussy
The only thing Pavel loved more than being home with his family after an extended stay on the Enterprise, was being home with his family after an extended stay and having T'La visit. He would give almost anything to sit for hours on end and watch her fingers dance over the black and white keys of his great grandmother's grand piano.
6. This is Who We Are – Hawthorne Heights
When T'La was ordered planetside because of her medical condition, Pavel felt like he would never see her again. T'La felt like he would never come back. Pavel kissed her palm and swore he would. He would miss his Pasha dearly, for the time she was gone. But this was who they were, they were never ones to break a promise.
7. Memories – Within Temptation
T'La closed her eyes and thought about everything. She had received a holovid earlier in the day that said the Enterprise was in need of repairs and that its homecoming would be delayed a week. The red head smiled. All her memories led her back to Pavel.
8. Kiss Me - Avril Lavigne
Pavel stared up at the sun, then down at his own bare feet. The grass between his toes felt funny, though he didn't mind. With a sudden weight on his back, Pavel crumpled to the ground, joining the laughter from behind him. The Russian rolled over and pinned the red head to the ground. Grinning wolfishly, the young blonde swooped down and covered her mouth with his.
9. Dancing for Rain - Rise Against
It took all of Pavel's strength not to cry along as T'La and her family wept for the two children who were lost as their family home burned to the ground. T'La suddenly straightened from his arms and wiped her eyes. She kissed him once on the cheek and then pulled away, gathering the rest of what was left of her fourteen siblings and marching them over to her mother. Without a word, T'La's eyes said 'They are gone, but look at what we have left. We will be strong together.' Pavel knew his worrying was for nothing.
10. Home - Chris Daughtry
It was a surprise, her homecoming. She said her farewells and 'Thank You's to Admiral Pike and beamed aboard to the Enterprise. She placed her bags in her quarters before sneaking onto the bridge. She stationed herself in a corner and watched the workings of the crew unnoticed.
"Our target is Vulcan II, Mr. Chekov. Warp Four, please, Mr. Sulu."
"Yes, Captain."
"Hey, Sulu, don't forget the parking break," T'La said.
All heads turned in her direction and before she could breath again, she was being hugged by almost every member of the bridge. It was good to be home.
