He was sitting in his office chair nursing a drink when Gates called him. He ignored it once but when she called again straight away he answered. "Captain." He addressed. "Mr Castle, I'm calling in regards to Beckett." He huffed at that but she just continued on. "She resigned." she paused letting that sink in. "What! Why?" he exclaimed. "Thats not important or a fact I really understand. What is of importance is that this was 3 hours ago and the detail has not scene or home, nor has anyone heard from her." Gates was going to continue but despite him being angry at Beckett the worry won over. "I haven't scene or heard from her since yesterday so I'm no help to you." He finished and hung up quite abruptly. He then threw on his coat, grabbed his phone and keys, then rushed out. He got to the exit of the whole building when he remembered the storm but he didn't turn back he just threw up his collar and stepped out. He starting walking to Becketts taking the longest root incase she stopped somewhere along the way. He was going to go quickly past the park when he saw an adult sized person sitting on a swing in the torrential downpour, which obviously was strange so he went to go check it out. As he got closer he could see that it was a female and that she had been there for a while as her hair was dripping and her clothes were completely soaked, but he couldn't see if it was Beckett or not as the woman's head was down. He stepped on a twig and the noise made the woman left her head and he could see that it was Beckett, she couldn't see him though so dropped her head back down. He continued walking and then sat on the swing next to her, the swing set creaked in protest which he did not appreciate and she looked up at him. "Kate, what happen?" he said his voice catching a bit because she just looked so small. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "It doesn't matter Castle. All that matters is if you'll still have me, because all I want is you." She stands up and he does to, then they meet halfway and he draws her into his chest. She looks up and sighs "I just want you." He puts his hands on either side of her face and pulls her up for a long loving kiss wish she then sinks into.
