Growing up is hard to do

Especially if it's a small group

Of girls learning the facts of life

Plus its many ups and downs

That's how they'll learn it's just what they do

Or it could be twelve children

Running a muck while mother's away

Giving the house a new look

While driving dad absolutely insane

Wondering what he's going to do

Once he reaches his wits end
