Author's Notes: I read "Wacky Races 2004" by Melty Cat, & "Wacky Races 2011" by WinxPossible and I LOVE them so much! So, here's my version. Enjoy!
And now here they are! The most Depth Defying drabble of daring drivers to ever whirl their wheels in the Wacky Races.
The cars are coming up to the Starting Grid:
First is the Xtreme Power Roadster driven by the Centurions.
Next, Johnny Quest and Jessie Bannon (Johnny vs the Cyber Insects) riding the Cyber Quest.
Making things mean, clean, and of course green, are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 Nickelodeon) in the Shell Razor.
Right behind is the famous Speed Buggy and his crew.
Close behind, or uhm above rather, is George Jetson and his boy Elroy in their Skyway Orbiter.
And here's Devlin on his HD Stunt Jumper.
And look, it's Link and Saria, (Ocarina of Time,) and Link's baby sister, Aryll, (Wind Waker) riding Malon's trusty horse, Epona.
And here comes Speed Racer and Trixie in Speed's Mach 5.
Next, Billy and Jimmy Lee in their Double Dragon Cruiser.
And here's a cute little favorite: Hart Tenjo riding the family robot, Orbital 7 in Motorcycle Mode.
Slithering along last is the Mean Machine with those double dealing deceivers, Dick Dastardly and his pet, Muttley, who even now are up to some dirty tricks.
Muttley hooks chains to each of the other racers' vehicles.
And their off... to a standing start. And why not? They've been chained to the Start Line pillars by shifty Dick Dastardly.
Dastardly speeds in reverse, crashing into the posts.
Who shifts into the wrong gear.
Dastardly: "Oh shut up!"
And away they go on the Way-Outta-the-Way Wacky Races!
