************Spoilers for "Linchpin" ***********
So I was re watching "Linchpin" and one of my favorite scenes is where they are arguing in the morgue and Alexis walks in .. so I changed it up a bit because I would totally love to see this happen .
"I don't know why do you ask your girlfriend" Beckett said sarcastically .
"Girlfriend?" Lanie questioned as she studied Castle
"Yes we slept together . It was a long time ago what's the big deal ?" castle asked becoming annoyed
"there is no big deal , sleep with whoever you want , the more the merrier" a jealous Beckett replied .
They were interrupted by The sound of someone clearing there throat …"Umm I have the toxicology reports you ordered" Alexis said a little embarrassed by the conversation concerning her dad .
"Oh yes thank you sweetie just sit them right there" an amused Lanie answered
Alexis stood there a moment crossing her arms Staring A her father and the detective …
"uh .. Sorry Alexis I didn't know you were there".. an embarrassed Beckett apologized ..
" Dad, Detective Beckett .. Is there something I need to know ?"
Beckett and Castle looked at each other in confusion then looked back at his Daughter … "what do you mean Alexis? Castle asked
"Well seeing Detective Beckett is clearly having a jealously issue I am gathering you to are now sleeping together , so when were you going to tell me, Dad ?"
"Wha.. what no Alexis your Dad an I Are not sleeping together ?"
"Alexis!" Castle said using his dad tone . Meaning it was time to hush .
" Dad , Kate, I don't believe you, And I am hurt that you didn't tell me you guys were dating , I mean yeah , I can see you not telling anyone here at work, but Damn it I am your daughter , I deserve the right to know!"
"Alexis Castle !" Castle said Raising his voice a little to get her attention . "Kate and I are not dating and we are not sleeping together, and if we were you would be the first to know . But I don't care if you are working here you do not disrespect me or like that again understood?"
Alexis eyes met her fathers staring him down "Fine!"
"And I think you Own us an apology" Castle said still Staring at his daughter .
Lanie stood back watching all this transpire amusement etched in her face .
"Okay" Alexis said after staring at her dad a moment longer … "Dad I'm sorry I waked in and over heard an argument that I wish I had never heard." she smirked then turned to met Beckett's eyes keeping the smirk firmly planted on her lips, and a twinkle in her eye that reminded Kate of Castle when he was getting ready to say something suggestive . … "Oh And Mom" Making sure to put emphasis on the word . "I am sorry Dad has been such a man Whore before you two got together ".. then turning on her heels leaving the room but not before hearing the gasp from Kate and her dad .. Just before Lane's laughter echoed the Morgue
