Jet: Tale Of An Anbu

Chapter 1

"So I'm told you're one of the best chunin around today, is that correct?" The unidentified ninja asked, with Jet gazing off into space seemed almost completely uninterested in talking.

"I'm not one for boasting." Jet said with a blank stare on his face.

"Oh! We have a tough guy on our hands, by the way my name is Akio." He said with a smirk on his face.

"Now lets take a look at your profile and see what you can do." Akio said as he opened Jet's file.

"Jet Hyūga, A chunin level ninja from the Hyūga Clan, he possess the ability to use both wind and fire release jutsu, and is also more than skilled in the use of kenjutsu, with 40 D rank missions, 20 C rank missions, and 2 B rank missions completed so far."

"Kind of going against the grain aren't you?" Akio said jokingly. "I don't think I've heard of a member of your clan being proficient as a swordsmen."

Jet who was still staring into the distance replied "I'm a one of a kind."

"I thought you didn't care for boasting?" Akio asked.

"I don't, it just happens to be a fact." Jet replied.

"Hmmm...you're an odd one that's for sure, but you come highly recommended by the Hokage, and you are more than qualified to be a part of The ANBU."

Akio then reached into his desk and pulled out a mask, the mask seemed to resemble some sort of bird. "What you do is simple, complete the missions given to you without question, can you handle that?" He asked as he held the mask out.

Jet reached out and took the mask from Akio.

"Well that was simple enough, by the way in case you were wondering why you're reporting to me, I'm your captain." Akio declared.

"Nice to meet you." Jet responded.

"You're not really a talkative kind of guy are you?" Akio said as he chuckled. "Well if you have no questions for me, you are free to go, I will be in contact with you soon."

Jet began to walk out the door when suddenly...THE DOOR SWANG OPEN

"AKIO-SAMA, COME QUICK, IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" Demanded the random ninja

"What's wrong?" Akio asked.

"The Hokage has requested to see you immediately!" The ninja answered.

"My day just keeps getting better and better." Akio replied with a sigh.

"Hey Jet! Wait a second" Akio demanded.

Jet turned around, just as he was almost out the door "Yes?"

"You had better come too, it sounds major, I could use your help."

The expression on Jets face suddenly turned

All the three ninja raced off to get to the Hokage, what danger awaited them?
