Disclaimer: I do not own Sanctuary and have never claimed to A.N: This may seem strange but it came to me and it kept bugging me. Things to mention are; John went to Watson's dorm after the shooting and that John is short for Jonathan(I'm not sure if that's true) Please review, and politely point out any mistakes or corrections you wish to make. It was originally written with a bad cold but has been edited

"Jonathan, please see reason and say those five words."

Those five words haunted John Druitt for his abnormally long life. They followed him for over hundred years. Even when his dear friend Watson died those words still haunted him. Those words that Watson had pleaded with for John to say when he had teleported into his dorms, after Helen had shot him, Watson knew they would save John and Helen. Even John knew. However, John also knew that he didn't deserve to be saved. Now he sat on Helen's couch a hundred years later watching as all of the Sanctuary mourned his dear friend's death. John looked down to the letter that had been left him; it was their death letter. In scribbled yet old writing were three words; never too late. Slowly John lifted his gaze onto Helen's angelic face. She had never ceased to amaze him. Even after a whole century John Druitt was still madly in love with one Helen Magnus. A tear crept its way into John's eye, it was time. They both deserved to have those five words out in the open for all to know. John needed to say them to honor a dear friend's final wish. In return Helen deserved them so she could begin to heal. It was time; John inhaled deeply and glided over to Helen's side. While putting a reassuring hand her shoulder she looked up at him. She knew what was coming and he prepared himself.

"I Jonathan Druitt, plea insanity."
