One Day

"Alright! Today's the day!"

Sprx was frantically pacing back and forth in the hallway as he was getting ready to do one of the many challenges one could ever face in their life.

"I can do this! Just three simple words! That's all!"

He slowly approached the door that had always befell him as he would pass by it every single day on the way to training practice that one knew it was for Nova's room. Shaking and slightly sweating, he raised a hand and knocked on the door, for then the yellow, female's voice could be heard saying, "Come in!"

Sprx opened the door and saw Nova sitting on her bed reading a magazine as he was also having an enjoyable moment gazing at her bubblegum pink eyes.

"Oh, hi, Sprx! Anything wrong?"

"Uh, n-no, no! Everything's just fine, but..uh.. do you have a moment?"

"Yeah! Is there anything you want to talk about or something?"

"Actually, yeah, there is! Um..listen..you know how we said that since we're a team, we should always tell each other everything and that we shouldn't let our feelings be kept hidden and all of that?"

"Where are you going with this?" Nova said becoming a little impatient.

"Well, anyways..Nova..I just have to say..I..I.." stuttered Sprx, "Come on! This shouldn't be this hard! All I have to say to her is 'I love you!' Why won't it come out!?

"Sprx?"

"Huh?" said Sprx coming out of thought, "Oh, I just have to say that...I think Antauri said something about us going to Mr. Gackslappers for hambugers later on, that's all!"

"What does that have to do with not letting our feelings be kept hidden?" said Nova, who was starting to look a littlebit down.

"Well, I did say that since we're a team, we should always tell each other everything, and plus, I just didn't want you to feel left out of the blue! Hehe!," replied Sprx.

"Oh..ok. Thanks, I guess," said Nova slightly turning away.

"Welp, I'll be going now!" Sprx then left Nova's room, quietly shut her door, and banged his head on the wall. "Why couldn't I tell her!? Mr. Gackslappers!? Hamburgers!? What was I thinking!?

Sprx stood still for a moment, but then quietly said, "Maybe, I'm just not ready. But Nova, I promise! I promise that one day..one day, I will tell you how much I truely..love you." He then quietly walked off, but never tended to notice that Nova had been listening and at that point, having a smile across her face.

Author's Note: Yeah, I know! It's kinda cheesy as well as short, but it was just something I kinda of thought of. I'm not too sure if there's actually another fanfic that somebody else wrote like this! I don't think there is based on from what I remember, but if there is, could someone could let me know, and I'll delete it! Just as long as you don't flame me about it! Also, for those who are wondering, I am still in the process of writing 'Who's That Girl,' and the next chapter...yeeeaah, all I can say to you is don't be expecting it for awhile, but I am going to try..to TRY to have it done by sometime around Thanksgiving, possibly earlier. Who knows!? I sure don't! XD

Oh, and before I forget, if ya didn't like this oneshot, please keep it to yourselves because trust me, I don't think you want a reply back from me! In other words, I don't take flames as an option of reviewing! If I made any kind of errors or something, then you can nicely say it without telling me something like, "This is so stupid! Why don't you just go and commit suicide!!!" That way, you won't have to worry about getting the devil half of me!
