Prologue
"Mommy" shouted the baby badger as the giant animal carried her away. The giant animal was a bear who was taking her to become a slave at his fort deep in Mossflower woods. A very mad mother was chasing after the bear, who was called Zanarkhan. "You put her down you big bully." Than Zanarkhan took a swipe at her head with his huge paw and killed her almost instantly. The bear then walked deep into Mossflower. But he made a very big mistake. He had stolen the daughter of The Badger Lord at Salamandastron.
