"Prim Rose Everdeen" says Elfie Trinket into the microphone. Nobody moves. It takes me a minute to realize that's my name. Everybody looks at me as I slowly walk to the stage. I was about to cry when I heard my sister screaming " I volunteer" behind me. I couldn't hold the tears in anymore. I love my sister. I don't want her to go. Why does my sister have to care about me so much she will risk her life. I would rather die in the games then have to live one more day in district 12. The only thing I have to look forward to is my sister, katniss and now she's going to leave me. I can't stop crying now. The more I think of it the more I want to cry. If there is tear drops on this page I am sorry. It's just impossible for me not to think of how katniss is doing in the games and it makes me want to cry. Now I am at home with my mother watching the parade on our tv. I still look like I have been crying. Finally the parade starts. I hate how everybody dresses up in silly costumes like trees. I used to think it was funny to watch everybody go though the parade in silly costumes, but now I think it's plain dumb. I hope katniss doesn't look that silly. Since our district is district 12 katniss will be last. Finally katniss comes out beside Peeta The boy from our district and she actually looks good. I couldn't think what she was at first, but then I got it she was coal on fire because our district is popular for coal mines. Then President snow said a couple words and it was over. Tomorrow they would show the interviews. I hope katniss sleeps alright tonight because I know I won't.
