Hello and welcome to my fanfiction, I'm quite surprised that there are very few dartshipping fanfictions on this site so I decided to make my own enjoy.

Chapter 1

The first time Sawatari saw Yuya He couldn't stand him but after joining the lancers Yuya grew on him and eventualy he started having feelings for him, he hasent told anyone but he tells he believes that he will tell Yuya eventualy.

Who am I kiding he won't have the same feelings, Sawatari thought. While he was thinking that he got a message on his duel disk it was a message from Yuya saying "There's going to be a new years party at the Yusho Duel School at 7:00 PM, you going?" Sawatari replied with a simple "Sure." This was his perfect chance, but he was still unsure if Yuya had the same feelings. He shruged it off and closed the door of his room as he was walking out. as he was doing that he checked the time and saw it was 6:00 PM, He may as well walk to clear his head.

It took him just under an hour to reach the Yusho duel school, when he arrived he checked the time 6:49 PM he was slightly early but it was close enough. he slowly walked into the school and saw that Yuzu was still setting up a few of the tables. She turned and was surprised to see Sawatari.

"Your early." she said.

"had nothing better to do." Sawatari said "Has anyone else come yet?"

"Only Yugo and Rin but there probably making out somewhere as we speak." Yuzu said with absolute certainty. Sawatari wasn't surprised. He helped Yuzu set up the beer pong table but filling up the cups with coke instead of beer since they are underaged. Yugo and Rin returned from the room they were probably sucking face in, They were both equally surprised to see Sawatari but greeted him normaly. more people started ariving over time but when Yuya arived sawataris heart skipped a beat, he really wasn't prepared and he knew Yuzu had her eyes on him so he had a limmited amount of time to get over his fears of being rejected and just go for it.

When Yuya saw Sawatari he greeted him. "Hey I see you have accepted my invitation."

"Yes I have" Sawatari said awkwardly as his heart was beating faster and faster the longer he was in the area of him so he walked towards the table where Yuri and Yugo were playing "beer" pong and both of them were on one cup but they kept missing each others cup for twenty minutes straight until Yuri finally got the ball in the cup.

"I guess I beat you Fusion." Yuri said with a smirk

"It's YUGO!" Yugo shouted at Yuri for getting his name wrong. A few hour went by untill it was almost 12:00 AM. Sawatari walked up to Yuya and said. "Can I talk to you in privste...now"

"Sure I don't see why not." Yuya said clueless on what Sawatari was about to tell him.

When Sawatari was absolutley sure there were alone outside he said something Yuya will never forget "Yuya I don't know why our how it happened but i have feelings for you I've had them for a while and I just want to know if you return those feelings."

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" He heard all his friends inside yell at the top of there lungs but suddenly Yuyas lips were pressed against his. His heart was going faster then the speed of sound, when Yuya stopped he looked at Sawatari and winked. "New years kiss." he said as he walked back inside. It doesn't matter what the rest of the night was like because it was the best night of his life.
