This was another very short drabble that I made a few years ago. I decided to post it here because I think it's cute and shows a side of their relationship that they don't really reveal to each other. They do both consider the other a friend but are too stubborn to admit it.

"Oi Sasuke, why are you such a jerk? All I did was ask you a question!" The blonde knuckleheaded ninja yelled, throwing up his fist threateningly.

"Shut up idiot." The raven haired boy responded coolly, closing his eyes and turning his back on his comrade.

"Hey, I'm talking to you! Don't turn your back on me!" Naruto continued, receiving a punch in the head by Sakura for his troubles.

"Don't yell at Sasuke like that you idiot!" She roared, eyes wide in anger and fists clenched in front of her.

"S-Sakura…" Naruto wined. "Did you have to hit me so hard? That hurt."

"I don't care if that hurt! Don't yell at Sasuke!"

"… I'm leaving." Sasuke stated softly, shoving his hands in his pockets and walking away.

"Sasuke, hey wait up! I'll walk with you!" Sakura exclaimed, running to catch up with the stoic boy.

Naruto walked home alone, his hands behind his head and his eyes skyward. He almost didn't notice the figure on one of the rooftops nearby, watching him. He squinted his eyes, making out the outline of his raven haired teammate. Naruto glared at his comrade before raising his head stubbornly and looking the other way. 'Stupid Sasuke, making me look like an idiot in front of Sakura like that…' He inwardly grumbled. Stealing another glance at his long-time rival, Naruto allowed a small smile to graze his features and he rubbed his nose before turning away again. He let a grin grace his features as he continued on his way home.

Sasuke sat atop a building and gazed at the people below. 'Ack, Naruto the idiot.' He thought as he spotted the blonde boy. He kept his eyes on his rival and he saw a smile form on the blonde's lips. Naruto turned around, but Sasuke could make out the lines of a grin on his face, and he couldn't help but let a small smile cover his features as well.

Naruto and Sasuke;

Total opposites.

Rivals to the end.

Best friends forever.
