A/N: I was on Tumblr, and I came up with this stupid idea that Mordred would use his telepathic skills to annoy Merlin. I only spent about 5 minutes for this, so it's not very good quality.
Voices
"Emrys", Merlin heard a voice inside his head. He didn't react, until he heard the voice again.
"Emrys." The young warlock looked around. His eyes stopped at Mordred, who was walking in front of him.
"Emrys", his voice echoed inside Merlin's head.
"What is it?" he replied without moving his lips.
"Are you bored?" Mordred answered. His face showed no emotion. Merlin was confused.
"What?" Mordred looked at him from the corner of his eye.
"Are you bored?" he repeated.
"Why are you asking?" Merlin questioned. Mordred sighed.
"I was just curious. It's really boring to walk without talking to anyone", he said. Merlin looked at his back with a suspicious look on his face. He didn't know how to answer.
"What's the point of having an ability to talk inside your head if you can't use it?" Mordred said, glancing at Merlin.
They continued the conversation for a while. Well, Mordred did most of the talking. Suddenly Arthur turned his head around and saw Merlin holding back a laughter, because Mordred had just made a joke that only someone with magic could understand.
"What is wrong with you?" the king asked his manservant.
"Nothing. I'm fine", Merlin answered. Arthur just shook his head, thinking that the man had finally lost it.
For a while no-one said anything. Suddenly Merlin heard a voice inside his head.
" Emrys? Emrys… Emrys. Emrys! I'm bored."
