Drip. Drip. Drip. Each time the rain water splashed through her ceiling, she twitched. Dammitt, she thought sourly. Damn my hearing. It'll kill me.
Drip… "THAT'S IT!" she spat, making a blue lizard curl away from her as she threw back the covers. She'd had it. The tall girl swung her legs over the edge of the bed, her Scooby Doo pyjamas hung loosely around her legs a bit as they were one or two sizes too big.
Her claws clicked on the floor as she moved swiftly out of her room and down the hallway. Only then did she notice the sound of someone trying to unlock the front door. Ignoring it, thinking it was just the wind, she continued past her door a bit.
She opened the closet and pulled some random objects before she heard the door open. Who tried getting into school in the middle of the night? She grumbled silently to herself before setting down the items she had been holding and continued on her way down the hallway.
When she neared the kitchen she flattened her ears and wrapped her tail around her body so it almost disappeared quickly. Despite being the daughter of the Hydrus, she didn't want whoever was in the kitchen to know that. Because it might have been a normie.
She stood in the doorway of the kitchen. She peered into it, but despite her good eyesight, the darkness was too much for her. Flicking the light switch upwards she found herself staring at four totally not normal people.
They were turtles. They whipped around pretty quickly, but the youngest one, the one wearing the orange bandana of some sort tripped. The oldest one wore a blue banadana - there was the air of a leader around him, the second oldest a red one - and boy, did he look mad, and the fourth one - well he simply looked smart. They were teenagers, like her. The youngest one she could tell, when he got up again, was barely any older than her.
"You know, you could have just knocked, somebody would have answered the door," she grinned before sauntering past the four teenage mutant ninja turtles. She opened the cupboard and pulled out a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. She turned towards them and held out the box as she grabbed a handful of the cereal and offered: "Do you want some?"
The youngest one put down his weapons and she handed him the box almost regretfully. The other turtles looked a bit dumbfounded at how I reacted to them. Of course, I was a sort of mutant myself. I grinned cheekily at them, "So - are you planning to tell me your names, or are we just going to stand here for the rest of the night?"
(So… yup… The daughter of the Hydrus [Hyena] sort of meets the TMNT gang! :D I'd really love for you to review. ^^ I'd really appreciate it. Even criticism! [I rushed this, I know. :P I felt kind of lazy…] I'll even let you have a character in this! Honest! …Also, I'm thinking that maybe later in this story, it'll be ocXone of the TMNT members. But who? I was planning on Donatello or Raphael but Leo and Mickey work too. ^^)
