An itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny one shot from my "Words of Their Lives" words

Personally I don't think this is one of my best... but it lifted my spirits a little, which I really needed. So... enjoy?

'I hate being sick. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! UGHHH!' Kurt miserably thought as he lay in his bed coughing and sneezing. 'Why me? What did I do to deserve this?'

That's when he heard footsteps. Kurt thought it was just his dad checking up on him, until he heard that gruff, yet musical, voice.

"Kurt? Kuuuuurt?"

"I'm down here, Noah." Kurt called as loud as he could without damaging his throat more.

"Hey babe, how are you feeling?" Puck asked as he walked down the stairs leading to Kurt's room.

"Terrible."

"Well, you look hot as ever." Puck kissed his boyfriend's forehead gently. "I brought you something…"

Kurt was excited that Noah had dropped by and curious to see what he could possibly have brought. He hoped it wasn't as bad as the other gifts the boy had given him. Kurt loved Noah, but that boy could not pick out a gift to save his life.

"You didn't have to bring me anything…"

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't come make my boyfriend feel a little less miserable?" Puck said as he set down some homemade soup and vitamins and then walked over to the dvd player.

"You brought me soup and vitamins? That's really sweet, Noah. And here I thought you were bad at giving gifts." Kurt teased a little as he opened the container of soup.

"And that isn't all; I also brought a movie for us to watch."

"It isn't some horror flick, is it?"

"No. I got your copy of RENT back from Mercedes."

"She actually gave it back to you? That girl was practically holding it hostage!"

"I have my ways." Puck, finally having set the movie up, turned off the lights and laid down next to Kurt, trying not to spill the soup in the process.

"You're going to watch it? You hate musicals!"

"But, you love them."

"I think you might just be the best boyfriend ever."

"I know."
