Kouichi's POV:
It was 6:00 AM on this cold Tokyo Wednesday and I had just exited my house. The reason for my unreasonably early start, the beautiful and amazing Mei Misaki. We had been together since the calamity and we had even gone to the same school in Tokyo. I loved her and she loved me, and that was enough for me. I finally reached her apartment and I already felt like I was half frozen I really hope Mei is ready. Just as the thought reached my head, something tapped my shoulder, causing me to whip around and see the wonderful and beautiful eyepatch of a certain Mei Misaki. God, she was beautiful and boy, was I lucky. Today, might be a good day, even if I lacked the slightest bit of sleep, until I saw the situation.
Mei's POV:
It was 6:00 AM, and there I stood, in front of my apartment, waiting for the beautiful Kouichi Sakakibara to walk towards me and brighten my day. I did feel bad for making him wake up this early, but, when an anime concert was involved, you did a lot of semi-mean things to make it awesome. And I wanted to share it with him because it was something we both liked and, we would finally be able to try something new. After the calamity, Kouichi helped me break down the barrier I had put up against the world and I could never repay him for that. I loved him and would do anything for him. As I was standing, waiting in the friggin cold, mind you, I saw a group of boys approach me. Now, I know that this can go one of two ways. One, I pretend like they aren't there and they walk away, or, two, they approach me anyways, and bother me because of their horny teen attitudes. As I sat there, quietly, I saw option 2 was much more likely than I hoped. So, they approached me and started a particularly fun conversation.
" Wassup, babe? What you doin' here by yourself?"
" You know it's not safe out here for a pretty little thing like you."
"Why don't you come with us baby girl. We'll show you some "fun"."
At this, I had realized three things. One, I am older than all the boys in this group. Two, they were drunk as a stump. And, three, there was Kouichi walking toward my apartment. Now, I knew this was going to suck for him, but I really needed some manly help in this situation. So I walked up to him and then...shit got real.
