Annabeth sighed and put down her pen. She couldn't stop thinking about him. It had been two days since their breakup, but she felt like it had just happened. It kept replaying itself, over and over in her head.*dramatic flashback* "Listen, Percy", Annabeth had said. "I-"she burst into tears. Percy put his arm around her, which only made her feel worse. "Are you okay?" he'd asked. She looked at him sadly, then whispered, "I think we might have to go and live our own lives". She could barely say it without bursting into tears again. Percy said,"Are you breaking up with me?""Yes." she whispered. Annabeth didn't know why she did it. Maybe it was because- she couldn't think of a reason good enough to explain why she dumped him. She felt like a horrible person. "I miss you, Seaweed Brain.", she whispered to nobody in particular."I miss you too, Wise Girl." She heard from behind her. Annabeth whirled around to find Percy standing in the doorway. She ran over to him and kissed him. "Oh, get a room, you guys!" They turned around to see Annabeth's sibling Ethan standing behind them. Percy said to her, "Let's go to my cabin. Nobody will disturb us there." Annabeth nodded. It didn't matter what happened, as long as they were still together. Nothing else mattered to her.
