(A/N): From a prompt on Tumblr: "Give me a pairing and a prompt, and I'll write you a three-sentence 'fic'." Except I can't actually stick to three sentences. What is my life.

Anyways, from LoverlyLight: "Tsukasa and Misora, and 'lollipop.' :D"

This is his first time being at a concert, much less being backstage. But, Misora's given him a backstage pass, the same thing she always does for any of her or Subaru's friends. He feels awkward, mostly because she and he have never really talked all too often, maybe just once or twice, and never about what he's done and what he still feels guilty about.

"Um, uh, why did you-?"

"Invite you? Well, you're a friend of Subaru's, right? He put your name on his guest list and everything, so you can't say that you're not!" And Misora laughs, the sound bright and lively and matching all too well with the pink, bubbly atmosphere that is her stage. "Really, don't worry so much!"

"Ah, I'm not worrying, really!" Except he is. Because he's around those people who have stood by Subaru, through thick and thin. He's only just recently made a BrotherBand with him, and that was after much cajoling and meetings and Wave Battles. Even now, Tsukasa imagines that there's something strained in their relationship that isn't there with the others. He doesn't know if it really exists or not…and he's not sure if he really wants to know.

"Hey." She's talking again. He should stop drifting off and actually look like he's paying attention. "I said, don't worry so much." And then Misora leans in, an almost mischievous and yet solemn expression on her face, and suddenly Tsukasa has the very strange feeling that she knows exactly what she's thinking.

"I've hurt him too, you know." What? What is she-

"I…I don't…"

"Don't tell me you don't understand." And there's another laugh, this one somehow less bubbly and more ironic. "And he's hurt me too. It happens even between friends."

"Yes, but I've-"

"Hurt him? Betrayed him?" And Tsukasa bites his lip, not talking. "So have I. And he's done the same to me. We worked through it, and now our bond is stronger than before. The same thing's happened to you, hasn't it?"

"That…that's impossible, it can't have…"

"Of course it has! You're here, aren't you?"

Tsukasa is silent as she wanders over to a table, rummaging a hand through the candy bowl that is intended for guests, but is filled with a far larger amount that is necessary. The aides, after all, are familiar with Misora's penchant for sweets and snacks. Eventually, he voices his thoughts.

"He said something similar too…you sound a lot like him." And that gets yet another laugh from Misora.

"Should have expected that. He's a bad influence, you know?"

Tsukasa chuckles for what feels like the first time in ages. "I wouldn't say 'bad'…"

"Yeah, yeah, I know." Misora then holds out a sweet towards him, even as she pops a gumball into her mouth. "Lollipop?"

And Tsukasa takes it, feeling as light as the day when he finally made a BrotherBand with Subaru, starting to feel the warmth of that same sort of acceptance yet again.

(A/N): Yaaaay, shoehorning in the lollipop at the last minute. I'm not sure this counts as a "theme." Derp.
