This was written several months ago, and lost it in the many unfinished fanfics I'm working on.
As I put my arms around my new husband and we dance, I feel a little bit nervous. Everyone is watching as we stand. He's smiling at me, and my heart is pounding. I know, for the first time in my life, that someone loves me with everything that he has within him. Its clean, pure, and beautiful. Someone once said that 'Happiness is marrying your best friend.' And I sure did hit the jack-pot on marrying my best friend. Now, as his hand is resting on my hip, I know its real. Our matching gold bands just bring it into my heart a little more solid.
My life was changed about 15 minutes ago when we kissed. 'You may kiss the bride.' I never thought I'd be on the receiving end of THAT kiss.
Our friends and family surrounds us. His children, and their dates, are cheering us on, clapping and cheering louder than anyone else.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Elliot and Olivia Stabler."
The music started and I felt us dancing. The room disappeared from around us, and for a moment, we were alone as we danced. We were the only two people in the world when I looked into his eyes. And I felt perfect. I felt so loved, and so beautiful for the first time in my life. I tucked in closer to his chest and he whispered into my ear.
"Olivia," he breathed, sending shivvers down my spine. "I've always loved you. I will always love you."
