Hey it's a horror story, which doesn't like horror movies? This book is based off of the movie Mama. I'm replacing the 2 little girls and much of the story line with my own.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own some of the story line of this movie.
...
Police officer Danniel Smithel P.O.V
"Yeah I have just arrived at the house with 2 other deputies, but all looks clear from the outside." He pauses before he continues, listening to the radio. "Yes we are armed. We are going in." I broke down the door the rest of the way, it was already partly torn open. The gray wooden house was covered in moss and grew thicker and thicker as we went down the hallway.
The roof Had been damaged from previous storm, sending light into the house. The floor boards were creaking, for a second there I thought the floor beneath me was going to give out, sending me falling to my death. But I can't die today, not today. The 3 of us looked around for anything that could've caused such a noise to frighten someone.
I turn towards the basement door, it was perfectly in tact. White with pink flowers all over it, a little girl must've lived here.
I signaled the other deputies, "Guys, there's a basement." 2 people show up behind me looking at the door as I once did.
"Its not destroyed or anything." One of them said.
"Its perfectly in tact." I jiggled the door handle, it opened up nicely. Vines and moss had grown all over the basement. We got a better view each step we went down.
I put my hand up to stop the other deputies half way down the steps. They nod their heads up and down. We hear something running, scaling the boxes.
Deputy Ryan went back upstairs to get back-up, don't want to scare what's ever down here.
We flashed our lights looking for like, I don't know a raccoon. Or maybe even a mountain lion. Nothing.
We reached the room of the unfinished basement, the floor is cold but smooth. I look up off the ground and see a shape move from one object to another. Deputy Kyle shined his light reveling a small animal thing. We got down on our knees as it creeps towards us.
It walks past the box it was in showing it was not an Animal, but a small child.
The little child was walking on all fours with her head tilted sideways. Slowly it walked near us.
...
For 10 minutes it stood their in silence until more deputies filled the basement scaring her off. About 20 other deputies and the sheriff showed up.
"Daniel this better be good, what do we got here." I stare at him with wide eyes until I continued
"Sheiff, there's a child down here," he looks at me with wide eyes.
"What?!" He whispered yelled. "Yeah, we think it's a little girl. She walks on all fours and her head is tilted sideways." He nods and walks around to the other deputies who have seemed to have caught her.
She stands up straight reveling her dreaded ripped clothes, she walks over to one side of the deputies making them move from fear. She places her hands on the wall whispering something terrifying
"Mama."
