Today is the day that I'm off to college, Kurt Hummel going to the best college in Illinois, McArthur, home of the Tornados. I 'm the only Hummel to ever go to college. My high school years were the best. Well, the first two were not the best, but the last two years were wonderful. Winning Nationals with the Glee club and my boyfriend Sebastian Smythe my life has been wonderful. Now I'm off to bigger and better things, college. "Ready son it's a long drive and I don't want to get there late?" my father yells. He's always been the type to get to places early. We always have to be the first ones there. At church we are the very first ones, in the front row. "Yeah dad, I'm just making sure I'm taking everything," he nods and heads back downstairs. I sit on the bed that I used to sleep in for most of my childhood and all the best memories that I have in this room come back to me. Like when Seb and I first kissed and also when it was girl's night Tina, Rachel, and Mercedes came over and Rachel got drunk with Wine Coolers best sleepover ever. I laugh at the thought of it. There's a knock at the door cutting off my thoughts, "Hey Kurt, I'm sorry that I'm not going to be able to go and drop you off at college" Finn tells me, "Don't worry about it Finn, I understand," I say while giving him a smile wishing that he could actually come with us. "So um I just wanted to tell you, that if you have any problems at school with anyone or someone tries to bully you, just let me know and I will personally go up and take care of it for you. I'm not really good with farewell speeches." I stand up laughing and hug Finn. "Thanks Finn, I will have that in mind" still laughing. "Hey guys, ready to go Kurt?" Sebastian says while greeting Finn with a fist bump or whatever way they say hello to each other, then he gives me a kiss "I will take your bags to the car. Your dad is already in the car just to warn you. I will give you two a minute. See you downstairs Kurt. It was nice seeing you again Finn," he disappeared from the room. "I will keep an eye on him while you're gone." Finn smiles at me while playing with the football in his hands. We hug one more time until finally it's time for me to go. I walk downstairs with Seb waiting for me. I give him the best smile I could and grab ahold of his hand and head to the car. "It's about time you got here." I ignore my dad's comment. As we are driving, I get butterflies in my stomach. I have three hours to make them disappear. I think to myself, "I have no idea what college will be like, will I make friends?
