DISCLAIMER: I don't own Naruto, but oh, how I'd like to...
Yeah. No idea what inspired this one. I guess it just kinda popped into my head. Really it's just a whole bunch of pointless rantings. And some implied Naruto Hinata drabble. Whatever. I actually kind of enjoyed writing this one, though...
Hinata tapped her foot impatiently on the ground and checked her watch.
Eight o'clock.
Hinata stretched and checked her watch again.
Almost eight thirty.
Hinata pulled out a kunai knife to practice and checked her watch.
Nine o'clock.
Hinata, gasping for breath, put away the kunai.
And checked her watch.
Half past noon.
Hinata groaned impatiently. And checked her watch.
Almost three o'clock.
"Aw, screw this," she muttered, walking off the bridge. Her team mates were obviously not going to show up for training. She stalked into the open training grounds and pulled out a scroll, putting all thoughts of anyone else out of her head. She began to train. And she checked her watch.
Three thirty.
Hinata was sweating bullets, but she kept at her training with dedication. And she checked her watch.
Four forty five.
Hinata sighed and rolled up her scrolls, trudging off to the main part of the Leaf Village.
She checked her watch.
Six ten.
Hinata walked around trying to find someone to talk to, and found no one. She checked her watch.
Seven o'clock.
It was getting late.
Hinata walked over to her favorite spot, a small, open hill at the edge of the village. She laid down in the grass and looked at the stars. She traced the constellations. She made a daisy crown. And a daisy bracelet, necklace, and ring to go along with said daisy crown. And she checked her watch.
Seven fifteen.
Hinata was putting the finishing touches on her daisy scarf. She checked her watch.
Eight o'clock.
Hinata was almost finished with the grass embroidery on her daisy scarf when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned to look to see who it was, and quickly regretted it, spinning back around to hide her blush. The blond haired boy sat down next to her. He complemented her daisy apparral. She smiled shyly. He took her hand in his. She smiled not-so-shyly. They began talking, and they talked for what seemed like an eternity.
Hinata didn't check her watch.
Okay, so it was really random. With some implied Naruto x Hinata fluff. Yeah. Okay, so now I posted a one-shot just like I promised. (Yeah! New personal record!) Kay. Now is when you be nice and leave a review. ^.^ Please and thanks.
